Christine A. Semenza, O.D., F.C.O.V.D.
Dr. Christine Semenza, a behavioral optometrist, is a graduate of the State University of New York College of Optometry, located in New York City. Dr. Semenza received special training in vision development in the Infant Vision and the Vision Therapy Departments of the College. She was an intern in the Optometry Department at the Gesell Institute for Human Development in New Haven, CT. She is a fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD) which demonstrates advanced competency in the areas of vision development, binocular vision, visual information processing and vision therapy. She is also a member of the College of Syntonic Optometry. Dr. Semenza is also a member of NORA (Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association).
Thomas F. Semenza, O.D.
Dr. Thomas Semenza, a behavioral optometrist, is a graduate of the State University of New York College of Optometry. There he received advanced training in contact lenses and the treatment of eye diseases. Dr. Semenza specializes in contact lenses for children and adults, including those with uncontrolled nearsightedness. He has extensive experience treating children and young adults for myopia control utilizing Orthokeratology (Ortho-K), a therapy that uses a specially designed contact lens worn only during sleeping hours, providing clear daytime vision without glasses or contact lenses. Dr. Semenza is certified to fit the Paragon CRT lens system for Ortho-K.
Christina Puzycki
Lead Vision Therapist & Office Manager
Christina has a dual role as office manager and vision therapist. She joined the staff in December 2016, and completed her vision therapy training in November 2018. Christina graduated from the University of Rhode Island, earning a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a specialty is health services and a minor in psychology.
Rimu Bhattarai
Receptionist / Vision Therapist
Introducing our newest team member Rimu! She will be working with us as both a receptionist and as a vision therapist. Rimu graduated from the University of Connecticut with her bachelor’s degree in psychology. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and going to the beach as well as being a very proud cat mom.
